Initially, we prepared prototypes on a desktop 3D printer. Unfortunately, with this class of machine, we had problems with the dimensional stability of the prints. We chose milling, but the tooling costs had increased immensely. After calculations, only sensible solution was to implement an industrial 3D printer.
